So I learned a little more about General Elektrik in the meantime. It's the work of RV Salters and has followed him through his moves to San Fran, up to Seattle, then back to the Bay Area. He deftly defies any particular classification but managed to start all his groovin with a computer a keyboard and a mic. Eventually he started mixin beats for Quannum and that's why you see Quannum's Lateef scratchin his back on the last album. This album is hot. -Earitnow.com
