Wilkommen is more than a record label, it is a collective of musicians that have met and grown to create together over years of musical adventures. The band, composed of Burton-Upon-Trent expatriates, evolves around two key players: a songwriter, Nick Hemming and a multi-instrumentalist, Christian Hardy. This project has been described as “a clean, nostalgic folk sound underpinned by unmistakably Ray Davies-like wry and whimsical songwriting.” I am a big fan of this type of endearing passion that is so obvious in what we hear in this music.
